FloodX is protecting 39 doorways in Port Louis, Mauritius, to enhance the city's resilience against flooding.

The FloodX Singapore Team first flew to Mauritius to conduct a comprehensive site survey, which includes understanding the topography and environment, and also taking doorway measurements. On this same trip, our Team gave practical advice on using cost effective measures such as building bund walls along a perimeter of a building, and also presented and recommended suitable solutions from our extensive product range. 

Our Team flew again to Mauritius to commence delivery and commissioning of the barriers within a very quick turnaround time of approximately 4 weeks from selection of systems, and proceeded to supervise installation at these locations. 

Training the Mauritian local contractors and users is key to the success of this project, as they are critical to using and maintaining the barriers in the future. Our knowledge transfer also ensures that our Customer (and their neighbours!) can independently indent our FloodX barriers when new locations require them. 

We also enjoyed the hospitality, warmth and genuity that our Mauritius friends afforded us. FloodX is very grateful to have your trust in protecting your properties and lives in Port Louis and will certainly remain committed to do so in Mauritius.
