Our Solution

Here, we had to pick a solution that would least affect the aesthetics of the front main door. We could not bear to put metal profiles into the reveals when the door and door frame so seamlessly worked with the wood flooring of the property.  Naturally, we recommended using the Dam Easy Flood Barrier as it is fully demountable with no permanent or fixed profiles required.  Besides, it is also the more affordable solution as compared to others for a doorway of that size.

We also had to overcome the doorway size, and to reduce it from 1300mm to 1100mm (being the maximum width of protection for a single Dam Easy Flood Barrier).  The Contractor readily, upon our advice, built a wood profile that would flush with the reveals of the doorway so that the Dam Easy solution can be used.
